For every track in this thread, I could name someone who wouldn't like it and would go mad about it. I've lost my hope on playing anything in parties, there's always someone who can't stand it. It's funny as hell when you ask people what kind of music they'd like, and the answer is always the same "I don't care" or "anything goes". Then you play a track which they don't like... After that you ask again what they want to listen. At this point the answer usually is "something good". People either are too afraid to voice their opinion, or then people really don't listen to anything else than what they hear on a radio.

yeah, that's true
& why you get sets of people loyal to particular venues, radio stations & artistes.
Different strokes for different folks.
I reckon in the olden days of Europe/America/Australasia
when it was all live music & set dance-steps,
there would've been people who didn't like the tunes (maybe preferred opera or folk music)
& there would've been people like me that can't follow choreography
so would've sat round the walls
and waited til they got home to brock out to imaginary wobble.
The closest I've seen to everybody dancing is old disco tunes (e.g. Bee Gees) or traditional bush dancing in country towns
but even then, tho I dig watching them having fun, I loath that shit dancewise.
