those vauxhall clubs have a similar vibe to fabric i think. cable too when it was open. lots of tourists, 17/18 yr olds fucked off their faces bumping into you, heavy handed bouncers.
is fire still a gay club on some nights? when i first started going out it was known mostly as a gay club

Some nights more obviously than others, but I think it's always a gay club.

Light box is pretty cool venue wise but yeah the crowds can be abit errrr and loads of the "free" nights are a crock of shit.
Fire which is the bigger side and is more comparable to fabric (platforms, mad lazers and absurd amounts of smoke machine use lol), Ive only been in once as for some reason light box is called fire and vice versa on some flyers (i know they are the same veneue onwer etc) but the Pinch an Mr mitch night was the first time Ive been in the real Fire bit.
Prices for drinks are still mental tho.
Jrkhands '12 fabric experience is pretty much the defacto. if you go with DnB on in one of the rooms then god help you..

The Pinch and Mr Mitch thing Ryan is talking about seemed really very much on the straight side of things crowd wise

only been to fabric once for hessle 3 room takeover last year but i really liked it (despite the drinks prices, fuck me)
crowd was decent for that apart from someone holding up his phone to pearson sound for a good few mins trying to get a request
new regulations are some bullshit, i'd be surprised if the club stays open long-term if they're properly introduced

Just remembered a few stories from going..
I remember when a group of us went for the Pinch, Distance, Kode 9 (dark garage set) night a few years back and dubluke more or less broke some dude bro.
Guy was in his neon wife beater an snap back and as a group of us walked to room 2 he kinda stopped dead and stared luke down, thinking shit is he going to starting kicking off..?
so a few moments pass , paused silent stare down.. then luke goes "Bkaaaaawwwk" like a chicken in the guys face
Dude freaks.the.fuck out.
The sheer terror in his eyes was amazing to behold
Started going "oh my god oh my god, why...(this is where his voice starts breaking down) why did you do that!?! oh god" and staggered off holding himself.
I was crying with laughter for a good 10 mins.
Seen people fucking in the stair wells outside room2, that was grim.
I think one guy on the forum (same night as the chicken incident) got wrangled by the bouncers and taken down the elevator reserved for beating up dealers and was grilled for an hour about if he was selling coke, then let free.
Cant say ive had any direct aggro tho
