for plain hoodies, always H&M...20 quid...bargain
As for Upper Playground, they've got a lot of shit I just dont dig at all, the shiny hoodies with the shark and the space scene are, imo, just a bit toooo cheesy...heres my pick of the bunch;

Only shit, I've been thinking about this a lot as well lately...if you want a normal hoodie you have to go to a retro store...this new style is brutal.
