I know you guys don't seem to hear many of the times that your female dubsteppahs are having the same problems. It was said that we ladies won't go out with a guy who doesn't have any money. Yep, was reading something in the Guardian today about how all women mp's are judged on their looks and how this didn't cross over to male counterparts, and thought it utter tosh - William Hague got lambasted for being bald, Menzies Campbell for being too old - there hasn't been a US president without a full head of hair since since Gerald Ford over 30 years ago, so it's clear that cosmetic irrelevancies play just as much of a role for men as they do women, which was neatly skirted over in the article.

I can't really figure why people would want their politicians to be pin-ups too, it's essentially showbiz for ugly people isn't it

i don't want a guy with money. evidence of this is in my backcatalogue. i want one with a job tho, preferably, because i don't wanna get into a relationship in which i'll still be paying for both of us in a years time. appealing as down and out but talented bums are, it's time to grow up... i'm not 16 and misty eyed anymore.

i agree....but most guys are incapable of thinking outside of the groin area...at least during the first encounter...meaning...a guy would most likely approach a girl based on looks/body language mainly to figure out whether or not he wants to fuck her or vice versa. his decision there after will be based on whether or not he succeed with the first step.... IMO

I mean it's important to find them attractive but if there's not much of interest mentally and personality-wise it's going to get very dull very quickly. I prefer women that spend more time on being witty and intelligent than what they should wear to maximise their narcissistic supply.

Its more that in order to even have the conversation about whether or not a guy is attracted, you have to meet the physical requirements strictly. I'm a cute chick (not judging by the Ninja photo. I put that up because I really dun wanna be seen like a cutie here) but even still I've noticed how many guys overlook a girl who is completely wonderful because she might not fit what he finds sexually appealing--that is, until the girl has a bf and all of a sudden becomes the most beautiful thing ever when he sees how good her new mans got it. He coulda been there for years, been her friend all that time and never did anything. Now all of a sudden, she's got herself a man who loves and appreciates her and she's giving him love and trust and being a good lady, and now all of a sudden her friend realizes that she's awesome? Fuggidabbadit.

The problem is that good people on either side want the whole package. And because looks are so important, you make the person you're initially attracted to fit all the other things you want. You'll say the person is witty if they catch an allusion or you'll say she's funny if she laughed at one of your jokes. A lady will say a guy is sensitive because he called her up to say he missed her once or will say a guy is responsible because he had a job intv when they first met. You're just making the square peg fit.

Maybe its an age thing tho. Things are supposed to be different the older we get.....I'm still waiting tho..

yeah i was joking, and i think you make a good point, but when you grow up in a world where the media tells you what good looking is then thats what you accept you need, i would like to clarify i think the liberation of women last centuary was a good thing, i do go on looks but only at first i think a girls attitude can realy boost how good looking she is, you could have a girl who is plain looking but her attitude is good which to me makes her more desirable than a very good looking girl who is a stupid bitch.
there are lots of cool girls but the tend to be taken.

I've actually made quite a lot of female friends through this tack actually, which may have been not particularly my first choice but it's no bad thing
