Pity he didn't get into any technical details...
"Drop random layered stuff in the beat."
"Make them tch ts pff"
"Four oscillators - 1, 2, 3, 4!"
Although there were some nice pieces of advise there!
Cheers to the uploader.

Rusko cracks me up bad. ''Made a nice brew and rolled a nice d'jayjay' lmao.
Good little tutorial. I always thought four oscillators would be too much, obviously not with that bass sound. Peace.

Can anyone explain what he does to lay down his bass notes? Just one note on the piano roll? Huh I don't get it.

It is programmed in VSTi (lfo etc)

He explains what he does. Copies the midi pattern and pastes it over and over again instead of writing one long midi pattern. He uses (obviously) a transpose shortcut available in Acid.

Ok I see. Can this be done in logic? Surely copying out the midi pattern would be writing it in the piano roll? I really can't get my head round it...

It's generally the same as writing it out. It's just a different approach in my opinion.

I thought the biggest tip he said was with the drums... Ive learned this slowly but surely..
Its all about the shuffle.
Was a good watch - kinda doing what hes doing in the sense of making bass and drums but hes obviously above my level of skills & we have different styles - Thought this was kinda beginner to dubstep thing, no? I mean its not like its complicated to make dubstep but he just kinda went. "this is how I do my drums - this is how you do wobble - experiment with odd sounds and bosh you have a banger"
Ive watched better videos from CM - Then again though - can't knock rusko... as much as people do .

Rats in my kitchen, rats on my floor!
That beat would be sick on a vinyl
