Hey I would definitely recommend uploading - gives all the judges and all the carbon logic network a chance to hear your tracks. start with 2 or 3 tracks and see what gives - nothing to lose and you will be in the company of lots of musicians and producers - who are bound to provide useful feedback one way or another (its the whole point of carbon logic after all)

respect.

Easy people, we hope that you are all really well and that your beat building is running.....

There have been some juicy revelations regarding the Grassroots Dubstep competition so its time for an update. :arrow:

First off, we would like to say a massive thank you to those of you who have uploaded music so far. The quality and quantity of the tracks uploaded is superb! There are 2 - 3 months left to go so we look forward to hearing lots more outstanding Dubstep in the near future.

Given the amount of great music uploaded (so far!) we have decided to release a 10 - 13 track full digital LP as well as the 12" vinyl. This means that we are able to promote more of you guys and more of your music!

Two of the judges are compiling mixes including some of the tracks uploaded to the site. Bun Zero is doing an exclusive mix which will only feature music from the site. Twisted will be submitting a mix featuring 6 or 7 tracks that have been uploaded. These mixes will be plugged to PR etc. More potential exposure for you guys :)

We have a night confirmed in a well known venue in London which will take place in December. More info on this soon but what I can tell you is that some of you will be playing at it alongside some of the Judges and other Dubstep honchos......

We are still working hard on other angles, and having just confirmed a feature in DJ Mag thinks are looking good!

The comp is about you. We want the winners to get maximum exposure as well as a release. Keep the music coming..................................... and watch this space.

Most excellent stuff !
just been checking tunes on the carbon logic again.
so check this;
"Season of the Mist" by Sook.
http://www.carbonlogic.co.uk/artist/soo ... f-the-mist

and my usual swerveball (well they say the outskirts of any genre and its relationships to others is always the most interesting territory) - so most definitely NOT Dubstep but hey I love the riddim;
"Kelenke Riddim" by SONA.
http://www.carbonlogic.co.uk/artist/son ... im-mixdown

keep the music flowing to carbon logic.

peace and regards
