This is sounding 10x better.
Decent bass presence, good reece sound.
The reece can of course still use more movement but now that you've got the basics down it will be easier to manipulate.
Do some notch modulation and find the sweet spots to tweak the reece.
You could also pick spots where you stab the reece rather than having it play through out.
Add an machine gun reece as well at times while you at it to change the feel for a few secs and then back.

So ive been getting into harmor both for its native tools and for resampling purposes, this was made in 5 minutes:

Soundcloud

Theres some processing going on here as well but it was pretty squelchy from the get go.

Try adding a lowpass filter around 5k and waveshaping the fuk out of this one.

I`d love to take credit for the knowledge ive acquired on how to use harmor for sounds like that, but it came entirely from watching Seamless`s videos on youtube. He has the best bass tutorials i`ve ever bothered watching, and he has 20+ long videos on the subject. Heres the one I followed to create that reese:

This is with no resampling, he also has a harmor resampling guide if you go to his uploaded videos. Enjoy!

Thanks man, the sub comes through really nice now eh?

Thanks for the idea of the machine gun/lower pitched reece, was going to something along those lines with also a few reece growl stabs so all of these suggestions are great :)

Thanks for all the feedback man, you've been a big help :h:

Definitely some nice sounds there Bud.

Straight out of a synth or processed/resampled?

thanks guys!

hm as you mentioned with your question its a rather simple reece so it could be out of a synth possibly but again i bounced the whole reece bassline from start to fnish maybe 2 minutes or sth and louded it into several samplers i think i could have cut of the parts i liked and save them in a dif folder or sth. but yeah some minimal filter work and convolution reverb
only advice i can give is dont watch your harddrive space just save everything you like presets, midis, complete reece solos etc

Refer to video posted above!

And as for the second part of that, I just automated the "cutoff" knob in harmors FX section on cube distortion.
