Not sure why the papers have resurrected the Bender rumours, he said at the end of last season he wasn't interested in coming to Arsenal

Nah not Khedira.

He looked sick in last World Cup too but has been dodge in between

Edit: get A.Song back

Agree Khedira has been ok for the first time ever during wc, but he is not a defensive midfielder really.

Martinez is not getting play in bayern and were linked last season but probably not likely, sure. Would be awesome though.

Don't understand how Gonalons can continue to play for Lyon. He would be my dream 'get'.

When we were linked to Sturridge I had every response from Chelsea/City reject to troublemaker who would lead Suso and Sterling astray, he's now the best striker from last season in the prem.

there's no guarantees Benzema would do any better than Bony in the prem tbh. he would be a solid signing i reckon

I think so, like I can understand fans of other clubs enjoying Liverpool losing Suarez and expecting us to fail, but I think Rodgers actually has something about him and I'm going to trust that if he wants a player he has an idea of how to use him.

I know his transfer record may not always justify my confidence

Yes very much so, but they are not playing the same position.

Gonalons is another interesting deep lying playmaker not unlike Veratti or Pogba in my book. Not enough goals though, yet.

Wilfred could very well be a monster that just hasn't been serviced properly yet.
But I don't get why you would have both Bony and Lambert tbh.

Agreed re: position, but I think you're overestimating his potential a lot. Not a bad player of course, has potential but hasn't impressed me THAT much so far. In any case he's nowhere near the quality of a Verratti or a Pogba. If he was I don't think he would be set to play another year in Lyon :cornlol:

Yeah obviously they are outstanding already, I mean more in the sence that they have that extra dimension compared with the usual defensive mids, and Gonalons kind of has too. I want to see him progress but you are right he's not at that level at all. Lyon is looking quite good though, lots of on the verge quality players.

Tbh I've been quite disappointed by the announcement that he'd play for Lyon another season. The time has come for him to go to a bigger club. Staying there is slowing down his progression. I really don't see how this could help him improve or even increase his value on the market.

No way Liverpool will get £80m for Suarez or Sanchez included in the deal.
The two options are 80 for Suarez or 50 + Sanchez. I don't think you understand how well FSG play hardball
Barcelona have agreed a fee with Liverpool for Luis Suarez, which Sky Sports News understands is £64.3million.
Transfer news: Arsenal sign Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona

£75 doesn't sound very realistic.

£65m? Yes

I'm not sure why Liverpool would have agreed to a release fee of 65m back in November/December when the deal was signed and he was on fire. In any case neither of us can really claim to know so like I said take your pick.
