Aurier undergoing his medical exam in Paris as I write. YES :h:

Really happy that for once PSG signs the player that I wanted to see - I was really afraid we would end up with Dani Alves (talented for sure but ageing, probably super expensive and seemingly a tnuc) or that Abbate guy (few times I saw him play I thought he was total shit).

At the same time Jallet is doing the same in Lyon - he's a good guy and a decent player but let's be honest, he was nowhere near the CL/international level.

On a sidenote, Dunga back as Brazil's coach - what a waste. Seems the Brazil confederation doesn't learn from their mistakes.

You think is too much for him? I think he is a sick player

Yeah I think that's a lot. He's 30. And the very few times he played for the national team he was pretty average. I have serious doubts about his ability to cope with pressure during big matches, but we'll see.

I think he was signed for too much money because Valencia put pressure on Barça as they knew they were in a dead-end regarding their search of a CB. Looks like Barça really have trouble finding a new CB.

Actually I would have liked PSG to loan Marquinhos to Barça - I'm against selling him but on the other hand he needs to play to gain experience. As it looks now he's going to spend most of the season on the bench. It's a pity. Maybe Barça are too proud to get players on a loan

All in all Mathieu is a good signing, just looks very expensive given his age imo.

Yeah true but tbh all the players are too expensive nowdays. Ridiculous amount for a man that get hype one season.
Anyway i think he is going to do fine for two or three seasons he is a very complete player

Here's a crazy story: Marseille is going to play its first home match of the season in... Montpellier!

The Vélodrome, the Marseille stadium, has undergone revamping works to raise its capacity and add a roof. The club doesn't own the stadium, they pay a rent to the city council. Until now they paid 1.5M€ per year. But now the council asks for a crazy rent: 8M€ per year, which would be one the highest rents in Europe. So the club refuses to pay so much (they probably can't afford it anyway), and they've gone as far as relocating the first home match at La Mosson, Montpellier's stadium, which is a lot cheaper to rent. And now the club is threatening the council to keep on doing so until they lower the rent of the Vélodrome.

That's how crazy we Froggies are :6: :dunce:

He's pretty rad. Probably the best striker that hasn't made it in europe in recent years.

I like how he has number three on his shirt and in his hair :6:

Always been gully on FM so has to be good.

Speaking of FM, I wonder if Stoke had to sign Bojans father as a coach in order to persuade him to join. Little FM08 trick that.

Drogs back at Chelsea 8) Be decent for moral and if our strike force gets in trouble like we did last season we can throw Drog on as a last chance throw of the dice. Not a bad super sub at all. Better than Torres or Ba.

loool darren bent

idk how much money has been spent on that guy over the years but he has got to be the laziest footballer i've ever seen live- he comes out the tunnel, picks his spot and just stands there and waves his arms around at players who pass infront of him expecting a run.

on marseille- i think bielsa has taken charge which could be fun- i predict they will be amazing for about 3/4 of a season and then completely fall apart- then get relegated next season

Yeah decent but no knee caps, throw him on and his fitness is always debatable. Shame cause he could have been a goal machine.

Really not looking forward to seeing Diego Costa after WC, reckon he'll flop. Be typical, we sign another prestigious goal scorer when we're in desperate need of a goal scorer and they flop.
