nah i reckon he will do a great season, i don't think he wasn't bad at the WC, probably the best with iniesta of spain (that isn't much as all of them were awful but...)

Fingers crossed, I'm doubtful after the WC though. A mate of mine said the same, Spain overall weren't great so its unfair to judge him soley on that.. but I'm a pessimist haha.

He moved like Chelsea Shevchenko at the world cup, apart from when he was diving for a dodgy penalty against Netherlands. Think he's suited to the way Chelsea play though

Talk that Arsenal are trying to sign Callum Chambers and Schneiderlin and Tottenham are making a move for Jay Roduiguez. don't think I've ever seen a team get dismantled in one transfer window like this...

ospina, great back up/ no 1 keeper, sick
wondered what happened with Remy medical, bad luck for him, he wont go to any champ league clubs now i presume
also, dont understand how madrid could want to ditch di maria, their MVP of champ league final, makes no sense at all
bad times for saints, its not nice to watch, stoked with chambers tho
sweating on DMF still, praying for schneiderlin/ bender/ carvalho etc

the deal with diMaria is beyond retarded but it has cemented my hatred towards real to still slightly trumph how shit it is that barca is getting a donkey vampire in

disagree to be honest, Theo is danger he's a much better player ever since 12/13 when he sorted his decision making out - he got 14 goals + 12 assists from 32 league appearances which is pretty sick. Last season obviously fucked cos of injury but scored some big goals, and got 5 & 5 in 13 games. Hard to argue with his stats, v tight for a winger, if he's kept his pace and stays injury free this year he will be big. still only 25 too

Rodriguez and Schneiderlin on their way to Spurs apparently. It's got to be shit for Soton.

As a Liverpool fan I'd take Walcott in a heartbeat

Griezmann going to Atletico. Good choice, even though I would've liked to see him at PSG.

Looks like we're going to sell Pastore and Lavezzi to buy Di Maria... Bargain in sight for interested clubs.

Heart problems I reckon, he already had transfer issues in the past for that iirc. Pity, the transfer was pretty cheap compared to his quality.

Anyone signing players from PSG are going to have to deal with pretty large wages I'd have thought. Yeah I wanted Remy but heart problems are the rumour.

True, hadn't thought about the wages. I was thinking about the transfer amount - since we need to sell in order to buy, and the club seems pretty desperate to sign Di Maria, buying clubs will probably take advantage of that to pay less in transfer value.

Lavezzi seems to have good value on the market so we probably won't lose too much money on him (we paid something like €30M for him), but he's got one of the highest wages in the club - wouldn't harm to get rid of him considering FFP constraints. Di Maria won't be cheap in wages either, but I think he still would be cheaper in wages.

As for Pastore... Well, we put so much money on him that there will be loss, inevitably.

I think knowing that your players are on high wages and you're screwed for FFP clubs will bid less. Think you're losing on every player. That said you spent 40m+ on Luiz so what the fuck do I know.
