'Tis a modest setup, got my MPD24 and a Yamaha PSR-270. I used to have an Axiom 61 key, but then I realized that I don't really "play" it as much as I just use it to record rough melodies as a starting point and then edit them, so I returned it and used this thing which was laying in my attic anyways. Event 20/20p monitors which I must say I'm pretty happy with, and a sub under my desk. Samsung T260HD 26" monitor. I've also got a few guitars and a bass which I guess I'll post some other time, but that's it.

I've decided to buy some turntables so I'll post them when I've got them.

Its quite modest, but it does what i want it to do. and i can get a good sound from my KEF 70's refrence monitors. (need some isolation pads though :s)

Do i see a Akai there... hmmm they are a beauty are they not.... What model is that ? the MPD32 one? i had a fiddle with it a few weeks back and it worked like a charm with live.

Really good pad, along with the launch pad working together.

It's the new mpd26. I've got the 24 and tbh i regret buying it.

I'd take a photo of my setup but it seems a bit silly since my set up is a laptop and some pc line speakers...

Here's the mixing set up production wise there is no point in posting a picture because all I'm using is a shitty dell PC and a padkontrol

Haha yeah its an MPD26. I deferred my uni, i just dont come here so often as the topics are already covered over n over. i dont really learn anything from here anymore...

..but I have talked to Dave-Sharmaji about trying to find a way for the more advanced heads to have a slice where we can continue to learn from each other. Don't know if that means a series of stickies or what... but there are a number of hedz on here that don't show up as often as they used to cos they are all tired of the same questions being asked over and over.

Don't give up - there are some of us around that still want to make it work. Just give it a lil time to figure out the best way.

Thing is im in no way trying to hint im above all this, but im a bit of a geek and crave some more tekkier questions, rather than answering how to stop massive crashing because you downloaded a crack.

my advice leave some headroom and don't limit the main channel, add some dynamic differences in tune and layer up your snares for bit more impact and work a lil more on midrange sound of your bass
