I followed because her blog is called "only good news" or something, and I was like "oh, neat! only good news! that ought to brighten my day with each post!"

nope, just nonsensical disjointed rambling. If it's poetic or allegorical it goes way over my head. The stuff about numbers leads me to think otherwise.

I had a blog about a month ago, but some idiot posted a comment asking for clicks. No more blog for now, I'll jump back in in another week or so when I know I'm in the clear.. Got $60 just sitting in my adsense account at the moment, lameness.

However, my cheque was less than I thought. My earnings in my monetize tab on blogger are almost double what they were on adsense...oh well for now though!

I wouldn't be too worried about that... I'm not an expert, but from my experience I've seen a lot of rule bending from the accounts themselves (not the comments) go unnoticed... I'm pretty sure that blogs that get flagged are individually reviewed... just watch your comments and remove the offending ones and you should be fine.

It's good to be cautious but as long as you make sure everything in your supplied content (everything on your page except for the comments) is legit, there's no way big daddy Google will shut you down, if I'm reading the ToS correctly. Keep an eye out and delete suspicious comments if you're paranoid, or better yet, set your preferences so that you have to approve comments before they appear on your site.

Whoa, what on earth is that? are you using the new interface? where's the option to switch to HTML?

if you can figure out a way to convert to html, you could try the <a href= method

Nah, this is still the old interface, I never switched to the new one.

I ended up making a new post in Firefox (rather than Chrome), and everything shows up normally. Very bizarre.

What happens if you press the "more" link under the "shortcuts" section at the bottom? out of curiosity.

yikes, well hopefully that was just a bug... seriously that is like the worst UI ever. blogger has so many weird glitches like that, but I can forgive them considering the traffic they have to handle from people and their lonely sock puppets. have you seen that blog that's dedicated to salt and their love of it, but the blog name is "Fuck Salt!"? Just when I thought i had seen it all...
