The pro 2 sounds especially cool for modular heads. The 4 audio rate cv ins and outs seems like it would yield fertile sonic exploration even with a minimal modular rig. I'm also imagining what the para phonic mode will sound like when all the oscillators are FMing or AMing each other...

Yo hardware crew!
Here's another all hardware live PA jam session, straight off the mixer. More of a techno vibe this time. Most of the track is from the Analog Rytm. Four of the percussion parts are from a MachineDrum. Synths are from the Analog 4, plus two modular parts that are sequenced from the A4. Main FX curtesy of a Roland RE501. Only plugin used is a limiter. I maybe got a bit enthusiastic with the reverb send on the melodic sequence at parts
Teenage Engineering are ramping up to release PO-12. At $50 this highly-portable drum machine will be $800 cheaper than their coveted OP-1. Moog just released this demo video of the new device running through their whole range of Minifooger pedals. This is really more of a demo of the Minifoogers, but the only other PO-12 video has audio through a PA from a camera phone. No release date for the PO-12 has been set just yet.

There are a couple videos of this PO12 around, looks pretty dope, especially for that "beat makers" thread crew here on DSF.
Pretty much best 'pedal' delay and verb units you can get imo.

Yeah, and the Cirklon is touted as the best hardware sequencer available today. Big fan of Damage's stuff, his Heliosphere album I actually ended up buying on CD for the car as it's so good

Strymon pedals are god-like. I will have the El Capistan someday damn it...I've not heard of/used Tape Echo software that lets you do the adjustments you can with that Strymon pedal...U-he Satin starts to get close...
That is a tidy little setup he has there. Will have to get some music of his : )

WANT.
Ahh, you didn't know about the 707's brother. My friend had one of these + the 707. They work well together.
So...guess what I've bought

Hey paradigmx, are you just visiting Asheville or did you move there? I've a few good friends (who also happen to be great musicians) living there. PM if want contacts.
I've been getting back into DIY stuff lately, started with a pair of these guys:

Thanks! The A4 is a really amazing synth! But actually, some of those bass stab synth sounds were from the Analog Rytm. Had tons of fun jamming that one.

I was only visiting Asheville, it was a random bonus to a holiday we planned. That said, my wifes american and wants to move back, and the weather, food, vibes etc were great. Getting a bit sick of the UK. That said, were thinking Colorado, poss california, Unless i can work for moog!
