You'se really are fucking nuts and it's not just the hun.
Tbh, as much as I love an Old Firm the atmosphere can be absolutely disgusting, there hasn't been an Old Firm on New Years Day since '94 for that reason.

Despite this, for me, no football fixture can touch it :U:

I did wonder why the fixture seemed to disappear.

I was on my way south after the game back to Liverpool, half the train was blue half green and white hoops, discounting the police carriage, I was the only Celtic fan, well I'm not a Celtic fan but I had a scarf getting off at Preston, half a dozen rangers fans got off and it was about as scared for my life as I've been.

I can see why you'd love it though.

I think it was even worse back then than nowadays, but with Rangers being out of the Premiership for so long and the fact it kicked off at the under-17s Old Firm, I can see the next Old Firm being pretty damn heated...

tbf it kicked of at arsenal spurs youth cup semi final a few years ago so i dont know if thats the best indicator. youth games just dont have any police presence

There was a fairly regular police presence at it I think, as trouble was expected.

Tbh, I don't think a lot of the people there were even interested in the football. Without the regular Old Firm people just hijacked at as an excuse to shout sectarian bile at each other. They were throwing coins at some of the players :u:

throwing coins at under 17s is pathetic.

I'm not calling you naive, but it is naive for Liverpool to think they can get in even top five with out buying someone capable of at a minimum ten goals. Sturridge and Lambert can make it up for Suarez tbh, but then you need someone of at least sturridges quality.

I would argue that trying for top four is going to be the same as trying to win. Specifically this year.

I wouldn't worry too much; he'd never heard of Frank Leboeuf until Monday.

(Sorry Rockonin, even if it was intended as a joke it's become the incontrovertible truth.)

I think you're alright despite your sartorial inelegance but I have no idea why you like banging your head against a wall. If you were wearing boat shoes and kicking the wall I could understand it.

I dont reckon Lallana will do all that well tbh, can see him doing an Adam/Allen

Coutinho however is a gem of a player, can see him having a proper breakthrough season if he stays fit

Broken foot in the opening game, out for the season.

Maybe.

When one of the former danish national team attackers came to play for Rangers, he was greeted by Gascoignes pee while doing a sit-up, all on account of him being new and ginger.

thats why i said earlier that now Moreno is in LFC need one more striker and I think a top 4 finish is a real possibility

I mean arrogant can be interesting when it's convincing to a point.

Arsenal put a £51m bid for Cavani? The same Arsenal that put in a bid for £40,000,001 for Suarez not so long ago.
