I'll be draped in the stars and stripes this evening, but I can't see Germany not easing their way past tbh... pulling for a draw in the other game. Preferably Portugal being pegged back in the last minute.

Oh, FFS Ghana.

Individual achievement is not a big factor in soccer. In a real sport, players fumble passes, throw bricks and drop fly balls — all in front of a crowd. When baseball players strike out, they're standing alone at the plate. But there's also individual glory in home runs, touchdowns and slam-dunks.

In soccer, the blame is dispersed and almost no one scores anyway. There are no heroes, no losers, no accountability, and no child's fragile self-esteem is bruised. There's a reason perpetually alarmed women are called "soccer moms," not "football moms."

Do they even have MVPs in soccer?

lol. Explain yourself Ehbrums

When the ref body checked that USA player before.

I'm surprised you lot have held on so far against Germany. They'll break you down soon enough.

Unlike you, the US has a history of fairing well against the Germans

So ridiculous, we have a program on a different network that broadcasts models in bikini
going head to head in penalties during the break of every game

Beats commercial for sure.

I dunno man, the US know they have to keep an eye at their GD to maintain their 2nd position in the group. Portugal is probably going to score more goals to Ghana

EDIT Ffs Portugal... How low can this team fall

Portugal are never overcoming that GD now... and I can't see Ghana winning by more than 2 either. Unless Germany get serious in the next twenty minutes and bang a few in... FREEDOM MARCHES ON!
