Staged a sort of intervention of sorts, rocked up at 4:30am at a mates and got him up (his door was unlocked, so he might have been a bit flustered) and my mate told him gently that he needed to fixup. He took this remarkably well, and i only had to sit there and drink delicious water (in a cup i brought with me). Yay. Normally im the sensible one, but i nearly flipped at my friends behaviour earlier tonight, nice to have staunch friends who care about him i reckon. I would certainly value peeps opinions in this sitch (and in the early morning esp )

What did he do that required said intervention?

Congrats bro! Being an uncle is sick. You get to help raise a child but with none of the responsibility. And as soon as they start crying/vomiting/smelling you can just pass them off to mummy or daddy

It's amazing!! I'd say it's probably one of my favourite things being an uncle.
In 5 minutes time, my 3 yr old niece will walk into my room and dance to the Wookie I'm playing.
