Three conference calls between now and 3pm. Not impressed at all.

Couldn't sleep, started having waves of nausea and dizziness at 2am, although my body was telling me i needed to be sick it didn't want to, made myself sick at 4.30am, turned my alarm off, went to sleep, woke up at 9 anyway, couldn't get back to sleep.

Just had mine ring up trying to sell me an optional extra for my renewal policy from last week. I politely declined. The young lady enquired how if I didn't take said optional extra I would deal with a car accident that would leave me requiring medical treatment.

I advised her that, given that I'm not a ghoulish bastard, I don't like to imagine myself having car accidents that require me going to hospital.

it was over facebook posts regarding my work..

a supervisor (that i actually get along really well with) had gone through my facebook, printscreened a load of posts that i made and printed them off and handed them to the store manager.

they included:

"im sick of this job now"

"onemans playing in town tonight and i have work in the morning 7am...fuck you argos"

and another one about a game me and my mate was playing in the stockroom with an inflatable ball.
and another 1 or 2 that i cant remember


they said it was gross misconduct because i posted about my workplace on a social networking site in a derogatory manner and i was in very "serious" trouble and it could easily lead to dismissal...

dont really have a leg to stand on because ive signed a contract saying that i agree not to talk about the company on any website in a negative way.
plus having my phone on me at work is obviously misconduct too...


im just fucking fuming that the stupid bitch actually went through my posts and printed them off...me and her actually got on quite well together.
wish i could sue the stupid tnuc for printing off my shit without permission or something haha.

My supervisor who has had it in for me since day one has got my assistant manager to launch an investigation because he overheard me talking to my mate who was in the shop buying a cd about giving him a phone number later and he's now trying to claim that I'm selling drugs on the premises.

Sheff... I'd bluntly to fuck off in front of lots of customers, and remind them that they are only argos and that getting disciplined in such a job is futile and more about being an exercise in giving themselves a sense of authority and worth for a moment in their worthless job.

im tempted mate but theres fuck all jobs around my area its ridiculous
