Fucking hell, turns out my girlfriend wasn't accepted to the medical school that I'm at. So now she's going to do a Masters in Newfoundland to pad her resume.... Fucking minimum 24 hour drive +ferry ride away or an expensive flight. Plus I'm sure there's going to be a ton of curly haired fucking moosecock bastards who just wanna be doctors so they can 'shag the fucking bitches' who got in instead of her. Fucking bullshit if you ask me.

Guess I'm just going to get drunk as in the garden and wait for next year to roll around. I swear the interview panel must have had their heads up their asses when they interviewed her. Fuck she deserved it way more than anyone else I know, volunteering 15 hours a week and working full time and taking classes.

This isn't meaning to sound harsh, but I tried the long distance thing when I was at Uni, and that was only about 4hrs away. It failed, and tbh I was denying myself a rich pool of local talent anyhow. Decided at the time it was better to keep myself to myself at Uni, as opposed to having to handle tearful 'missing you' phone calls, expensive make up presents and long ass journeys for a fuck and a cuddle every couple of weeks.

Hmm there's a picture of her and me in the production forum, I'll let you judge the out of 10 haha, but I'd say she's at minimum a 9+... And we're pretty sure we're getting married, we've talked about it and we're really compatible. Shes a super chill girl, which is pretty wicked, especially now that im in med school everyone around tends to be either a super A type personality or a gold digging son of a bitch. we've been together for a year and a half, half a year of pretty much living together, a year of long distance. right now she's a 3 hour drive away, so my right hand is pretty used to the lack of contact that comes with a long distance relationship. We see each other one weekend every two weeks, but I'm not sure how much with her being in NFLD. guess my right arms going to be the size of buff bag well... Although the rest of me is pretty fucking twiggy haha.

It's going to be a fucking long year. I'm mostly just frustrated at the application Committee. my girlfriend volunteered to pad her application (pretty hardcore too, she did a lot of work at the distress line) and worked full time in a lab to pay off her tuition.

Interviews are really weird here, but essentially they aren't normal panel interviews, you can actually prep for the questions and stuff, so we practice interviewed for at least 20 hours, she read up on medical ethics and stuff for the greater part of a year and still got the exact same fucking application score/interview score.

It's just so frustrating, seeing jackasses get in who can't tell their head from their ass, or their dick from their mouth, when someone who worked so hard didn't get in.

My headphones finally cracked it yesterday and stopped working completely. 40 minutes on the tube with no music was not enjoyable

Went into a record shop today. As I made a bit of cash I was gonna impulse purchase Roteks on vinyl. Ended up just giving my number down for the guy to ring me when the restock comes in next week

Puts a downer on you're impulse purchases. Having to wait. Flicked through the rack and couldn't find anything else to tickle my wallet. So no new records today.

I need a pair of decent decks and a mixer. Really. I want to mix. And buy more vinyl.
