Thought this was a bit shit really, could have done with being 45 mins shorter.

No, as in brilliant. And please dude, edit that spoiler out. The point was not as much the ending, as it was about what a terrible job and situation LA cops find themselves in daily. The fact that these two guys don't clean up LA in one shift like in your usual police film, should take you away from that 'who died when'- notion.
Almost felt like Korean cinema at times. Technically it was very original and impressive in how they handled a handheld camera (

) and still managed to keep it 'action'.
I can't recommend it enough.

Why?
Also, I failed to see anything original about it. The phrase "run of the mill" comes to mind.

That's the only thing I remember about it from watching as a teenager. Tbf, the book's too long as well.
Dracula or GTFO when it comes to vampires.

Yeah, quite right. And a lot of the ones above. I concede, retract and fall 'pon my sword.
I meant the books really, there are a lot more good vampire movies than vampire books. Well, that was the result of my 13 year old self's 3 month study into the subject anyway.
I'm not really sure why I brought it up in the movie thread.
Sorry everyone.

The Place Beyond The Pines.
One of the more decent flicks I've seen this year (it's been horrid). Visually fucking awesome (the chase scenes are spot on) though it get's a bit lost in ambition as far as storytelling goes. A surprisingly very good Bradley Cooper and Eva Mendez. Gossling is in danger of playing similar roles in each of his movies. His high pitched screaming is a bit awkward as well. Other than that he does pretty good.
Not the best movie of the year (I hope) but at least it was very watchable.

Finally started with the fourth season of Workaholics, despite a lot of people saying it's not as good anymore..
First 3 episodes are really good once again.
