I did have the monitors on dvd cases so the tweeters were at ear hight, just need to do something similar which doesn't look so shoddy!

vacuum does work, did it on some technics speakers and they poped right out

I took some samples and made this huge hiphop track with rugged didgeridoos and deep kicks with an indian flavor + some distortion for dessert
