I Semi Agree with this, but sometimes with music, the music is just as important as the engineering.. IMO.

if you go see you're favourite band/artist (that requires a mixing console/soundbooth) and the sound/mix isn't good, does it not ruin your experience of the viewing a little bit?


mind you, video games etc.. i don't care, i have like, a 21.5" TV i play on with general RCA a/v leads haha.
same with bluray/DVD i'm not overly fussed with blurays.. if i can see the picture and hear the audio as i want, that's all that matters to me

Most of my favorite video games are from the early 90s. A good game is a game that plays well. I just don't see the frame rate actual impeding your ability to play it.
