I was watching Brian Cox's new video last night and ended up getting pretty blazed and came up with two questions -

Say you put a mirror on a planet a million of light years away and had a telescope that could, some how, zoom into that mirror. Would you be able to see the spot where you’re standing, 2 million years ago?

Since EVERYTHING was created during the big bang, does that mean that every atom in my body was present at the beginning of the universe?

Any physicists have any answers?

Obviously the first one is beyond ridiculous as a telescope couldn't zoom into the mirror and see its own reflection at such a big distance.

first one, no, you would just have to wait 2 million light years to see your reflection

second, yes in a sense. also every atom in your body was once part of a supernova

I don't think so because the light would refract when it entered our atmosphere and left the other one.
