One problem is it still smells horrible on the outskirts of London compared to Devon.
Outskirts of most big cities do for obvious reasons but then you have the smell of muck spreading in the country and all that insest.wolf89 wrote:One problem is it still smells horrible on the outskirts of London compared to Devon.
I think both the maxx and aeon flux were kind of cool too (?) but not on tv over here, so never really got that into them.Dude, I be fuckin' up hard. YES. The Tick's easily a top 3 cartoon. Best comedic style
This lol. There are parks in Birmingham that people get lost in they're that big. Not as big as some of the london parks, but still hench.Laszlo wrote:Yeah, we have very, very large parks and open spaces here, even woodland. I think you're thinking of post-apocalyptic Neo-Tokyo a la Akira.wolf89 wrote:Hmmm not convinced.Laszlo wrote:Anywhere where someone could get shot...
Abandoned buildings
Streets
Building sites
and parks would be identical to doing it in the countryside.
I mean you could you could go to a mate's house and have literally miles of fields around it before you met anyone else.
There was also this. 1000 acres is more than big enough to have a bb gun fight in.Sutton Park, in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, England, is the largest urban park in Europe and the largest outside a capital city; it is larger than Richmond Park in London.
Son, if you sense of smell is that strong then I advise you never go to Bangkok.wolf89 wrote:Muck spreading only happens a little bit in some places. I really can't stand the smell of big cities though. London is fucking awful. Everytime I come home from a trip up there I have a two mile walk through fields back to my house and it's the nicest thing. Also you get so fucking dirty in London all the time too.
Gonna take a while to adjust when I move up there next month
Compared to "fucking awful" London though??Johnlenham wrote: edit: Bangkoks not so bad.

Let's see kids do that with their iphones and such.
Yeah there's a lot of places that will obviously smell worse than London. It's still just a constant stale dirt in London though. The air is never clear. You can smell the difference just walking into a park and being able to smell plants for once, but it's still crap compared to out here.Laszlo wrote:Son, if you sense of smell is that strong then I advise you never go to Bangkok.wolf89 wrote:Muck spreading only happens a little bit in some places. Yeah ok. But that would mean living in Birmingham.garethom wrote: This lol. There are parks in Birmingham that people get lost in they're that big. Not as big as some of the london parks, but still hench.
In fact, just read this on wiki:
