Sheff wrote:party in the park yesterday was nuts, was drinking all day just chilling outside of the dub tent up until about 6, then the next DJ came on and absoloutely killed it. pushed my way right to the front and then 2 minutes later Blawan - Getting me down came on, first time ive heard it being played out and the sound system in that tent was amazing. some serious skanking going down in there.
after another hour of house/funky/garage they upped the tempo and started with all the niche/bassline and all that, then the rudeboys turned up and that tent nearly emptied
so after that we headed up to a smaller tent further up the field, and this is where everything just became a blur, i can barely walk straight at this point
we got in there and me and this bird was stood inside of a hula hoop on the floor, we were just joking around pushing eachother out of it and messing around and all that and then we got chatting to this guy jokingly offered him out on a hula hoop competition
so we had a go, then he had a go, then someone else had a go...
and then 30 minutes later theres a massive circle gathering around the centre of the tent where we're stood and the whole tent is now involved in this hula hoop dance, all whilst everyone is clapping along, cheering and just drinking and dancing to the deep house the DJ was playing. every man, woman and child got involved in it, it was so crazy...i havent seen so many people come together like that before, nobody had a care in the world
was seriously such an amazing atmosphere to it all, everyone was hammered, a constant smell of weed in the air, mixed with the smell of outdoors and every single person dancing along to deep house, circled around this hula hoop dance in the middle that me and this bird somehow managed to unintentionally start
one of those memories that will stick with me im sure
that explanation of it didnt really do it much justice though
still sounnds sick tho. Where was that?
at the Ponderosa in netherthorpe, Sheffield
how big was it? I didn't even see it advertised. Not that it would have mattered coz I am revising, just surprised I didn't hear about it

Oh man, came back from a run, it was chucking it down, and I was in shorts and a vest so I was getting constantly refreshed. Ran by the river so saw all Big Ben and London Eye in all their fucking glory. I love seeing them at night. No one was out cos it was raining. Oh god, it just felt so good, I'm so glad I'm back in London, so much love for my city. Can't wait to tear it up with my friends This summer is going to be glorious.

Today and yesterday there was a free event in the park by my house.
Yesterday evening. Park full of people getting down to Appleblim playing a proper nice house set. Some of the best vibes ever. Seriously. Beautiful summer evening and everyone from the area together in a park enjoying some decent music.

off to first exam in half an hour, feel pretty good about it. Just glad they are finally here because it means the end is in sight. And it is a bit of variation from pure revision haha

That psychology exam got raped big time! I should get an A.
Tempted to post in the "pissed you off today" thread about the room I was in but I don't care anymore. I performed well and the questions were a perfect fit.
Got home and see Jamie xx's single has FINALLY dropped, gonna buy that, Holy Other's EP and probably Bok Bok's too

Actually pleased with a beat I made today.
Not pleased enough to be like "look everyone, here's my track". But pleased enough to see that I'm making a bit of progress.
