tbf tho'

Isn't it more just that the other london clubs with how they're set up couldn't possibly appeal to lets' call them sizan just for the sake if it?

I mean spurs is somewhat jewish and hasn't had a huge hooligan tradition.

Arsenal has all the north africans via the french connection - a stadium called emirates, no hools etc.

westham is proper working club during the thatcher era etc

There's bound to reside a few sizan in london etc

The worst bit about Chelsea is still Mourinho.

Chelsea fans have always had links with combat 18.
Heard so many stories about chanting in the pubwith the n word and stuff like that
Can always make comparisons with chanting yid but that's completely different.
Arsenal and Tottenham have traditionally had more fans from ethnic minorities
The Bears one of the most famous arsenal fans and he's black
West Ham have traditionally been quite racist too to be fair

Chelsea fans have always had links to far right. Same with Rangers and Leeds.

No doubt and I agree with the way you are laying it out... what I'm getting at is how much of it is like institutional and what is just like 'trickle down' effect from having hooligan culture around in London?

Liverpool has in comparison been a bit of a racist or at least nationalist club in how they've dealt with certain situations, but more from the board side of things.

Is having a very concervative board verging on racist and prefering specific nationalities and stuff like that, not worse than having a group of people maybe 'mis'- associate or force hateful messages onto that culture once in a while?

I mean for the 'climate' of football in the uk. I dunno, I just think with 'nazies' it's more the clever ones you have to fear.... the other types just needs a hug :6:

I've had to listen to the radio news about this all day and obviously social media has gone mental. This whole situation is deeply depressing and quite frankly frustrating to hear about constantly. Fuck all you Chelsea fans/football fans that feel the need to claim you aren't racist and point out this is the actions of a minority.. that should go without saying, shouldn't it? The fact it needs to be said just shows how utterly misunderstood the problem is. The media and news all day have focused so heavily on the football aspect that its almost forgotten its a racial incident; its just an incident thats happened in football and therefore requires as many football related commentators as possible. Its been the same fucking nonsense repeated over and over.. all its doing is justifying this as a football incident; as if it doesn't occur anywhere else. Its not a football issue, its a social issue.. how does anybody expect to come to any sort of solution when the problem is so hugely misunderstood?

Obviously these people should be dealt with by UEFA, Chelsea and the police. They should at very least be dealt with by the legal system and banned for life from all footballing events. But the story is one of racism, not one of football. Treating this as a problem in football just buys into the illusion that this doesn't happen anywhere else in society and really does nothing but belittle the incident.. as if it can be sorted with a couple bans, everybody wearing a black armband and saying NO TO RACISM!

The worst thing is most football fans would be happy for Chelsea to be removed from the competition.. because they don't give a fuck about the racial incident they just want a petty laugh at another teams fan base.. and we wonder why this ignorant, immature, down right backwards behaviour happens "STILL IN 2015?!?!?!?"

Parma that same year. Gianluigi Buffon, Dino Baggio, Hernán Crespo, Juan Sebastián Verón, Fabio Cannavaro, Lillian Thuram and Alessandro Nesta.

@Muncey the issue I have with the "its not indicative of Chelsea supporters," argument is that when you have a fan base that has the reputation of being right wing racists and nut jobs, stunts like this do nothing but reinforce those preconceived notions. Now obviously this isn't an accurate representation of all Chelsea fans and it obviously isn't JUST a Chelsea problem, but at the same time... if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, its probably a duck
