Yeah although you can tell they're more 'professionally' produced. I'm sure Pulse X was made on a playstation? I see these tunes more like tribute songs to the old grime sound.. in a new grime wave. Could probably say the same about Silo Pass.

Yeah, tribute is probably the best way to put it.
I like the "amateur" production of that sort of grime man, absolutely love it!

Yhhh, i was just about to post that, is the roughness of the tune that makes them more edgy, sort of less refined.

pulse x was made in rebirth
I think it's a great idea, bringing back the classic sound with modern day production techniques and finesse.

Ah fair enough I thought it was playstation for some reason.. but yeah I love the old "amatuer" style of grime. However much I love the new stuff coming out from the likes of Preditah, Royal-T ect. I still prefer tunes like Percy, nostalgic while still sounding fresh! Hope to hear more on a similar tip from Kahn & Neek this year.
I can see them being more involved in the Butterz events and maybe having a release on Butterz after Elijah & Skilliam gave them their Rinse debut.

Skank / Dose was 100% made on playstation. Benga said it on one of those redbull video things.

And to think of the price they go for on discogs lol, crazy!
I've said it in the Zomby thread, I'd love a Shallow Grave (Kahn Remix) / Cha (Zomby Remix) plate. Think Kahn would smash a Shallow Grave remix!
Anybody know if theres any more planned releases for Gorgon Sound?
