Hi everyone, nice community you got here. im from croydon (old coulsdon if anyone knows it ) , been into dubstep for a few years now. been mixing Dnb for many years. recently been buying alot of dubstep vinyls as ive actually got some money again.

new to the forum, somewhat new to dubstep. i love what i see and hear. started producing hip hop 5 years ago. slowly got introduced to electronic music like aphex and vsnares. eventually it led up to dnb and dupstep. still listen to hip hop and idm but not as much as that step. people are catching on to it in the pacific northwest.

I didnt like dubstep for ages. I heard Mark Pritchard DJ and now I'm hooked.
I run an intimate venue in East London, if there's any established nights needing a new venue, holler!

hi i'm tom but my dubstep artist name is Fudge! , i'm 18 and been producing dubstep for about a month now. i really need some advice, i have added a link of all 5 of my songs (8mins long) for anyone and hopefully everyone to listen too if they like and give me any advice they can (about making good basses, song layout, anything you can think of!) i have read most of the production bible and have FL Studio demo but am planing of buying Fl Fruity Edtion. thanks for your time

Well, I have finally seen the light (or darkside rather) and have a new crush on Dubstep! Thanks to Chase & Status' & Snoop Dogg's Snoop Dogg Millionaire and Skream's rmx of La Rue I am hooked. I used to DJ in the DC/VA area alot around 99-01 as a trance and prog house DJ but have always had an appreciation for DnB and now Dubstep. Glad to be a part of this.

I'm Stephen, been into Dubstep since i first discovered it from Dubstep Allstars Vol. 2 in '06. Natural progression from Dub, Drum & Bass. First heard Dubstep on a proper weighty system in '07, love the anticipation and excitement of getting to a club and hearing the bass rumbling from outside!

Anyway been checking the forum for some time, thought it was about time i signed up! Peace

I use it not only to get shitloads of free music, but, as an aspiring producer, to edumicate myself as well

Just when I thought electronic music was kind of starting to get boring, up comes dubstep and totally revitalizes the globe's interest in the genre.

The fact that you can dance both fast and slow to the beat is what makes it genius and even revolutionary...

Dubstep has yet to gain a solid foothold here in Hawaii, but because I've been utterly fascinated by it I made my own "History of Dubstep" audio lesson, if you want to check it out:

Yo guys. ive been a dubstep fan for about 9 months and ive been growing more attached to dubstep rather then all "mainstream" genres, every day. I spin dubstep jungle and dnb and new to the forum so whats good?

Hey people. I'm a new comer to dubstep, but I've been listening to Burial for close to 2 years. He was my gateway into this genre. I mostly listen to classical, jazz, fusion, folky black-metal, or prog-rock otherwise.

If anybody wants to recommend me some producers to give me a flavor of all the areas of this genre it would be appreciated.

I'm a newcomer to the Dubstep scene. I'm 18. I've started to produce Dubstep for about a month now. The tips n tricks people on this site share are really good for a newcomer like me. I'm mainly into the wobble bass stuff, but I would like to start listening to so deeper darker stuff. So if anyone can recommend (sp?) me any artists it would be much appriciated (sp?).

I've played guitar for the past 5 years, but when I started College in '07 I was more interested in making music using a computer.

This has led me to where I am today.

I listen to nearly all genres of Dance music.

I'm also into metal, pop punk, some indie, acoustic etc.

Look forward to joining the community.
