I Loved RUF's JT remix...help me find other dope remixes

Okay so I'm much more of a Hip Hop head, but I CANNOT stop bumping nor get sick of RUF's remix of "Summer love" (that's what it was called, right) and I love "snoop dog millionaire." I want more remixes like this. I also LOVE Sleepyhead from San Francisco who is far and away the best dubstep I've heard here in the Bay and probably around in general:
http://www.myspace.com/sleepyheadmusik
the commonalities here are dope melody. I want more ill remixes or very melodic dubstep tracks. I really like atmospheric drum and bass like DJ Peyo and such. if you would be kind enough to hook me up with links to get tracks like these I'd be greatful. to be honest I rarely check this forum and if you could hit me at:
myspace.com/phillipdrummond or phillipdrummond at gmail.com or facebook.com/philthydrummond with links I'd be most grateful.
if you want to check my drum and bass (don't check this page often, check myspace.com/phillipdrummond way more): myspace.com/phillipdrummond bass
and the only time I tried making a dubstep beat I ended up making this cut which is on my album "Music For Dope Runs" (sample tracks and 14 free acapellas at MFDR.BIZ) and the song is called "Full Boat" so you can check it out and get the bootleg of the entire album (I did all 24 beats on it) here:

I'm assuming that's a snide and condescending remark as opposed to the fact that you think nothing sounds like it, right? I also did write that I like really melodic stuff and I found those cats from England (along with Sleepyhead, to whom I made reference) that I really like. I'm certain you know some melodic stuff if you are deep enough in the game that you would scoff at me for mentioning "snoop dog millionaire" so why not share it with me? Perhaps you even make some dope melodic stuff. If it's dope I'll pass it along to other people and then it's free promo. I dj regularly at my partty/beat battle that I've been doing for 4 years now so it wouldn't be a bad look for you. I'm about to check out your stuff anyhow right now.
thanks kellydean.

yo kelly, just checked your myspace and your beats (those are yours, right?) in the mixpod player are killlllllllllllllin it! Do you know the homeys Dibiase or Nocando (from Low End Theory)? I do monthly beat battles up here and my boy did a massively ill dubstep beat in what is usually a Hip Hop beat battle and blew folks away. He also is on that dude Malice in Wonderland's or whoever did "Snoop dog millionaire" mixtape, I believe. If you're down to do remixes I got acapellas at mfdr.biz
EDIT: I'm in btown...I see you're from there...I bet we know some of the same people.
Aftee: your tracks are official, but they're not my style as much.

I'm a bit of a dick
When it comes down to it I really don't know what to suggest though, I've never heard anything else like what's on your album (sickness btw) or by "sleepyhead"
You new to dubstep? You looking for some sick tracks or just some remixes?
You can check out Sloppy Records though, over there reppin cali

hey as long as you claim it, it's all good. Wow thanks a lot for the feedback on my album...that's a fantastic compliment. I'm somewhat new to dubstep...I've been listening to it for 2 or 3 years now, but that being said it's more that I've been to a couple parties, but I don't actively seek it out. HOWEVER we have a RIDICULOUSLY ill live beats/live Hip Hop/dubstep/psyphy (psychedlic hyphy---hyphy is the Bay Area style of street rap...see E-40 "Tell me When To Go" as reference) scene here with DNAE Beats, Nasty Nasty, Quitter, Low Limit of Lazer Sword and many others.
I REALLY like "Sloppy" so that's a good look!!! if you like that stuff or crazy ill dubstep/beats/psyphy check these guys, Sleepyhead is pretty straightforward melodic dubstep as far as I can tell and the others are very dubstep/heavy beats, I think you'll dig this stuff:

Yeah I'm a bit up on hyphy, I grew up on hip hop and used to do some stuff with a producer over in the bay who did some keak da sneak beats and other local stuff...put me up on that a bit, gorilla pits have some ill shit
I don't know how much dubstep you actually know but if you're into the synthy melodic shit you'd probably love joker...once again I'm not sure if you've heard him before or not

hell f!@#$$ yes that is the RUF remix I'm talking about!!! that track is insane and slaps soooooo hard in my whip. I bump that nearly every night I go out, which is a lot and I have no shortage of music. I don't know a lot of dubstep but always open to new stuff. Low limit is a G!!! Thizzstep as sloppy puts it. or psyphy, or whatever. hard beats. Joker is pretty good, but I'm feeling sloppy's "Goose Eggs" (my god, listening to it right now and it's killin the game) and "bring the ruckus" big time. Also Hellfire Machina's "Jedi" is killlllin the game. that's my joint. so with these tracks as points of reference I'm open to any other tracks you cats have in mind.
I don't know why you would "LOL" at Snoop Dogg, the dude is legendary, is one of THE best rappers/mc's ever, is gangsta as hell, has a sick flo, ill imagery and any mc, or anyone who knows anything about rapping loves snoop. You need to go back and listen to Doggystyle which is one of the best contemporary albums EVER. I think snoop kills that track. If you drop Snoop Dogg at party, it gets it started. People go dumb when you play doggystyle here in Cali. I bet they do in NZ, too, I know the aussies rep hard.

A lot of people just were not feeling that snoop track at ALL...he used like the most played out dubstep track and the engineering on the vocals was just horrible, worst chorus i've ever heard. That track was nothing but publicity which is why I lol at anybody who's actually feeling it...I mean they credited some dudes as producers of the beat just because they re-arranged it to a 16 bar verse 8 bar hook layout I guess...which is just absurd. I felt like if snoop really wanted to do some dubstep shit because he was feelin' it he wouldn't contacted a producer and pushed out some original shit that fit together well...opposed to the most played out track at the time that sounds like it was put together over night...which is why a lot of people weren't doing it..expected a lot more but hopefully it started a lot of other projects and we'll see some good shit coming up this year...already heard of loads of projects in progress and have some of my own going
I haven't really heard anybody else quite like sloppy...I can throw some heavy names out at you though guess you can go through and decide what you like for yourself
If you haven't heard any of these artists i'd DEFINITELY check them out
DatsiK
The Widdler
Flux Pavillion
Trolley Snatcha
hd4000
Voodoosteamboat
Kid Logic
Few cali names up in there, kid logic has some SICK sick westcoast remixes...definitely check some of those out, I forget the website but I think there's a link around the forums somewhere for a free download of a 4 track westcoast remix collection...runnin and 93 till infinity are crazy crazy tunes...
much respect for snoop though, just feel like that project was a MAJOR let down and didn't seem like much work was put into it on his side of things

Thanks Kelly for that Mind Gone track, its lovely. I been rinsin ballin out for the longest time as well. Good work fam!!
I cant even think of many good remixes for my man to download. Just off the top of my head I think i heard a good remix of Rhianna - Disturbia by errrr firestar??! check that out. Murs on Chase and Status's Madhouse is also good. Better than dogg millionaire if you ask me.
And its not as if we hate Snoop over here. I love snoop! He just raped Eastern Jam, thats all. Everything about snoop dogg millionaire sounded false. Did he do it for the love? No.
