My flatmate.

I hate her. If i don't write all the reason in here i'll kill her. So its some kind of therapy. I need to do this for my own sanity.
1. She never locks the front door.
2. She always slams the door. Even at three in the morning when i'm in bed.
3.She complains about the house being messy when there has been about five boxes of her shit in the front room since last december.
4. When i bring people back at the weekend she complains about the noise. Yet she does not see as hypicritical when she does the same thing during the week.
5. She doesn't pay the bills but is convinced she has. Leading me to show her my account without any credits from her.
6. She claims to be liberal/leftwing. Yet her small buisness is bankrolled by a very dubious Russian Millionair who got his money from the break up of the formerly state owned utility's.
There will be more. Believe..
Please feel free to post anything that pisses you off about you house mate.
Vent your spleen here......

7. She has two doors leading to her bedroom which she leaves open and then coplains about music coming from my room. This is at 11.30 in the morning.
8, You really need to see the shit she did for her degree in disign. It's a fucking joke. You wouldn't pass you gcse art with it.

Flat mates are generally shit things to have, my last three have been mates of mine, something I hope I never have to do again.

^^Yeah the trouble with that kind of 'flatmate' is that they stink the place out, but at least they're almost guaranteed to pay their rent lol

Very glad I live on my own now.
I had one place where I was the only one working, being sole tenant and having all the bills in my name. Did a favour for a mate who was homeless at the time and having all sorts of bother, so I thought I'd sort him a room when one came up. He ended up not paying rent as the "social were giving him gyp" (i.e. He'd ripped them off massively on some scam and continued claiming once he moved out of an earlier house) and ended up owing me £700 as I had to front the rent for him (which fortunately I got paid a few months further down the line). I had to pay the rent later and later each month, and his eternal cuntiness meant that we were very close to all losing the flat and being made homeless.
He did have some realisation that he might be being a tad selfish, so decided that he'd put the phone bill in his name which resulted in us being cut-off and having to pay £40 to be reconnected.
Also had a bit of an aversion to ever tidying up. I'd wake up in the morning and find EVERY SINGLE ITEM that it was possible to cook, eat or prepare anything with was stacked up in a blocked sink with cold water (if he'd actually bothered to move it from where he left it) and there was nowhere that you could even rest food that wasn't covered in cigarette ash and decaying food remnants. This would be after having cleaned it the night before so that I could eat it - I have no idea how he managed to be such a useless twat (I think drinking and smoking all day probably assisted). Found out that he'd also been slagging me off to my mates for the above for being "uptight" and needing to chill out.
I actually ended up ending the tenancy and moving elsewhere to get rid of him. Later it turned out that he'd been beating up his ex-girlfriend regularly and had been arrested for trying to strangle his latest one (girl's do seem to love the troubled type don't they) and ended up getting sent down for 9 months for it (couldn't quite prove attempted murder, so they had to settle on abh eventually).
I've heard that he's moved to self-mutilation lately, so hopefully he'll hit a major vein and die. Heard afterwards that he'd also managed to skank his next landlord (who took him in as a favour to his girlfriend at the time) for about £3000 and managed to induce a nervouse breakdown in a friend who gave him a place to stay after everyone else had rightfully shunned him.
So MBP, in all honesty, you don't have it too bad.

Flatmate politics are an oddity. To you, it's the most pissing off thing in the world and you wanna stick it up her aris (read on...) and to everyone else it's leaving a dirty spoon in the sink.

I've had a very similar experiance a few years ago. Almost identicle infact. The guy still ows me about £700. And you could argue he was resonsable for a £1000 loan i had to get in order to move out. Prick. He's done it to everyone he has lived with. Shame no one told me about that when he moved in....

9. She pretends to be really sexually liberated and say's things like " i really would like to have a girl friend". She is not gay... Stop saying things for effect. It really doesn't impress me.
10. She has that really annoying public school attitude of "I'm worth it".
11. She thinks she's really cultured because she drinks wine and looks down her nose at me because i drink beer.
Thats a really good way of judging people.
12. She's basicly just a upper middle class snob...

Maybe the girl friend thing is literally wanting a girl that's a friend - seems quite likely given that she seems to have such an unpleasant personality. Maybe she just wants to be liked, acting like a tit can have certain psychological implications, maybe she's projecting or something.
You could also fill your house with lesbians and call her bluff.
