i need opinions from the uk crew? currently only $5k. is this going to be a money pit? whats the general concensus in england about buying old jag's? be honest. cheers.

Thought that as well sid. thanks for confirming my doubts. i'd love to buy an old jag, but still waiting for the best deal. not trying to pay more than $5k.

on the real bruv, a mate of mine had 3 jags.. 2 from the 1980's.. double gas tank bidnis.
he picked them up cheap.. then sunk few hundred bob into each, drove the piss outa them then sold them for profit..
as long as you going for the later models should be alright.. the one you showed tho looks to be a labor of love fam.. and maybe a likkle money pit.

I don't know the car's history though so I can't comment on that model. Plus, I agree - for 5 grand?

my only point for concern would be parts.
do a bit of columbo work , if you can still readily get parts then jump in that mofo like a ,er, mofo.
