In light of the success of their last collaboration which brought Martyn to these shores for the first time, Numbers & Fortified are teaming up once again to bring you a very special event at the Sub Club this October. The guest in attendance is someone who you should be all aware of by now, but it's hard to think that when Skream first played in Scotland 3 years ago, it was in a manky basement to a crowd of 30. Since then the young cockney has went stratospheric compared to his peers, and become one of the most well-known producers in the U.K. His 'Skreamizm' E.P's for Tempa broke moulds within the Dubstep genre, and he's still knockin em out. A prolific and in-demand remixer, Skream has reworked the tracks of many of his comrades (often improving on the original), and also made paths into other genres, most notably with his remix of La Roux's chart-topping single 'In For The Kill', (we all know it was his remix which got it to No1,right?). Because of his now minor-celeb status, this is a rare chance to see Skream in an intimate club like the Subby. Joining him on the evening will be Fortified's Gost Wan & Number's Jackmaster playing special back to back sets covering Grime, Bassline, Garage, Funky, Dubstep and some hot stuff that just cant be categorized, just the way we like it!
100 early bird tickets are available in Rub a Dub right now, at the knock of price of £7, be quick to take advantage.
