BM Soho - Intimidation speaker rig.....

when i was in bm the other day for the dub police do, in the back room upstairs they were advertising intimidation budget speaker rigs.

before any djing commenced i thought the price looked abit too good to be true, but when the 1200s were hooked up to the double 15" cabinets downstairs for the others/trolley snatcha, i thought the sound was actually pretty damn good for such a low price...

im looking for a small rig for my room, obviously doesnt need to be huge in volume but some decent bass response would be nice.

whilst looking through all the usual uk dj kit sites alot of the price point speaker/amp packages include these intimidation speakers and are very tempting!!

i cant seem to find much in terms of proper reviews of this kit and would just like to know if anyone could shed any light on what kinda smallish rig i should go for, in terms of small amp/speakers package, possibly with the option to upgrade with a sub later on.

not really sure what im looking for for my room in terms of PC studio monitors vs. small PA rig....

any advice = max apprecitated!

cheers.

anyone have any views on the matter?...

i understand audiophiles will look down on me like scum for considering the purchase, but if they are good enough to pack a decent punch ill buy em...
