i think for it to sound really purple, you're gunna need a bigger, deeper kick, one that feels like it's ripped out of a hip hop or crunk track and has a sweet warm sub to it. also, i'm not particularly feeling the garagey type shuffle you've got going on with the hats all the way through. just sounds like youve nicked a loop from a sample pack! *cough*which i'd personally never do*cough*
otherwise though, sounds sick! fucking love the retro synthy breakdown at 1.58 and video game synth sounds! with some work, could be decent man!
if you get a chance, check out my own purple rip off, agent 2.5.

the previous guy have all said
you have to make a dubstep track instead of a 2-step
but I found the retro sounds crazy, the overall is really good

good track the drums are a little to low would sound excellent with a grimey industrial distorted beat over the top funked up and glitched

I think it can work with the 2-step drums, the problem is just the mix. The drums are way too quiet in relation to the lead; especially the kick as already said
