				after 10 years of bassface, NYC's never seen a run quite like this. back 2 school madness. out of towners need to come party with us!. it all starts....

Not a great venue for Dubstep, no. It's a classy establishment. High dollar type. Went for Martyn and the sound was almost completely off until 2am. Played ambient for like 2 hours, followed by some good shit, followed by more ambient. Sound system is on point but they don't intend to flex it very often. Good ass lineup though, probably still worth your time. Mala knows how to work the EQ. Be prepared to pay 50% more for beer. No clue about mixed drinks.

Weird, I've been there to see Kode 9 and Roni Size - plus a bunch of house events - and always thought the sound was on point, second only to Love in NYC to my mind. It has been a while though...Definitely expensive and snootier than most places I go regularly.

				the system at LPR has been good the couple times ive been there for dubstepish shows... nothing to brag about to a bunch of soundsystem junkies, but i def wouldnt mind playin on it...
september is gonna be huge... im excited...
ive heard a rumor of ANOTHER huge one in that 10 days time frame in the OP.  we shall see.....

				cielo has a bangin system. i don't like the bottle service part, but the funktion one delivers.
