VARIOUS SEPTEMBER 2009

Big session in store this time! Our friends take the entire stage, a truly diverse, dynamic and devastating mixup of players.

BASSIST & MECCA

We're stoked to have Bassist & Mecca return to the basscave for another Various session. Local dubstep favorites, these two have led the city with incredible talent and extremely memorable sets. Now with extensive productions under their belts, we're ready for the pair to showcase everything they've got.

Dundiggy is a co-founder of The Fix (Someday Lounge), as well as Rockbox (Holocene). His longtime hard work in this city has given him well deserved success, as he travels fluently from genre to genre, dancefloor to dancefloor, blowing minds without compromising his values. Together with Kez, Matt Nelkin and a host of their company, they've made playing vinyl-only a very serious and much-loved passion. Enjoy Diggy's incredible sound in the Various arena.

DJ Kez has had a huge part of making hip-hop & electronic music thrive in this city for almost two decades. He has managed 360 Vinyl throughout it's various locations and has had a guiding hand for many events including The Fix & Rockbox. His weekly radio show "The Movement" on KBOO has shown just how dedicated & musically-minded he is, traveling throughout genres, techniques and decades. It's our pleasure to have the original party-rocker unleash on HAS.

Short Change has been a PDX reggae legend, operating his weekly radio show "Reggae Revelations" now over 10 years. From 99-01, he helped run weekly dances at The Red Sea, Seges, Tiger Bar, and DV8. September 2002 began a new partnership as Short Change teamed up with DJ Xacto to form XactChange HiFi. Together, they supplied PDX with high voltage dub sounds at many operations around town. We can't wait to start Various with SC at the controls.

Big sound by H.A.S. systems every time!
