T++ (DIN // Apple Pips // Erosion // Monolake)
Appleblim (Apple Pips // Skull Disco)
Al Tourettes (Apple Pips // Phonica)
Greena (Apple Pips)

We'll still be finding our feet (and yours) at our new home: BASEMENT 45 on Frogmore Street. But with an even sicker, slicker line-up that before.

FRIDAY 23rd OCTOBER @ Basement 45, 8 Frogmore Street, Bristol. BS1 5NA (near the academy, just up from the Hatchet folks!)
£6 IN ADVANCE from Rooted, & Bristol Ticket Shop

We'll be running competitions for entry and things from this very spot so be sure to stay tuned!

------------------------------------------------------------
T++ (Berlin, Germany)

Berlin-based producer T++ has more aliases than Inspector Clouseau and has been making and releasing astounding, futuristic electronic music for long enough to make our record label feel like a primary school recorder class. One half of techno uber-act MONOLAKE, T++ also runs the DIN label, and works for legendary Berlin record shop HARDWAX.

After a proverbial hug of musical appreciation between Appleblim and T++, remixes of Blim's 'Vansan' and Shackleton's 'Death is not Final' appeared on the seminal SKULL DISCO imprint back in 2008. Two original tracks, the beautiful and mysteriously titled 'Audio1995#8' & 'Audio1995#8_2' followed as PIPS004 on APPLE PIPS.

This is an extraordinarily rare chance to catch the techno pioneer in the UK, so be sure to get your swine flu now before it screws things up for later.

APPLEBLIM (Bristol, UK)

If you don't know who Appleblim is by now you've probably got bigger problems. Go see a doctor.

AL TOURETTES (Bristol, UK)

Al Tourettes: the man, the legend, the techno puritan. Al's usually hardened electro stance has been somewhat adulterated by Appleblim of late. A beautiful production partnership has flourished seeing the two produce a techno-oriented remix of Hector & Bryant for PHONICA's new record label, and even a tasty MODERAT remix.

With his solo release on APPLE PIPS due to hit the stores imminently, Al brings his brand of bounce and bass to our Basement face.

GREENA (Brighton, UK)

If you came to the first Pips Party before the summer you'll have seen Greena literally mangle the dancefloor with one of his classic Ableton live sets. Greena's skills and forward-thinking productions have not gone unnoticed, not least to the trend-setting ears of Mary Anne Hobbs for whom he's just finished a mix for broadcast on her RADIO ONE show. Mashing disco into garage, funky, house, dubstep and anything else he feels like, Greena is headed for big things.
