Logic + Pirated software = fucking nightmare

I may have installed alot of pirated plug-ins and all of a sudden logic keeps crashing after about 10 seconds. so I am now disabling all my plug-ins and reintroducing them one by one to work out the dodgy one.............

I have learned my lesson for being cheap

After years of downloading every crack I could find, I've actually started buying software over the last few weeks.

So far I've bought Reaper, Melda Production Creative Bundle, JB Red Phattand Poise Drum Sampler.

All of them offer quality features and nice interfaces, and two of those devs have implemented feature requests within a week after I emailed them with fresh ideas for their software! :)

Support the indy guys, fuck NI, Rob Papen, Propheads Steinberg et al

Na, I like Z3ta+ cuz it was ahead of its time with its waveshaping synthesis + it has fucking mentailist modulation features/tuning modes and oscillator modes... Apart from Z3ta+, they aren't really known for anything imo...

I don't really see why you need masses of plugins anyway, you're better having a few good ones that you actually know whats you're doing with as opposed to masses of plug-ins that you don't really know about...

I have 40 odd plugs but I do actually know them all pretty well. I wittled down the list of plugs I use from the hundreds of cracks I had. I realised that most of the cracks I had were cack and bloated my system (like the waves shit).

Simplicity is a virtue.

I currently have two cracks which work fine. But I know little about this subject, so why they work flawlessly, I don't know.

I plan on buying at least one of them soon, because it's dirt cheap atm.

Everything else is freeware...which is kinda cool. The lesser known ppl really put effort into making software that either rivals or surpasses known, name brand software.

I feel like more complex applications that probably have lots and lots of code and security features might shit the bed more when they get cracked (see massive)

but then again I know nothing about code.

Also....there is a difference between a "crack" and "somebody who unlocked their legitimate copy of a software and then uploaded that online".

Like the crack must refer to some nerd who does nothing but breakdown code....
