I'm on a thread spree today i guess... (sue me

)
How many of you use multiple sequencers / software to produce tunes?
I mainly use Cubase 5 but sometimes i like to rewire Reason for the synths and also ableton for the timestretching. I have to say since i got Cubase 5 i hardly use any other software. Except for Traktor when mixing.

i was thinking of suggesting keeping your midi on one track then bouncing to audio for different parts of the drums....?

Not any more. For me, it made me know 2 or 3 programs at a 6.5-7/10 level...now I know one program at 8-8.5/10. I'll eventually get that 10/10, but that'll come only cuz I'm using one program.

FL + cubase
occasionally use reason for its vocoder. not often really though.
trying to cut out fl, because it slows my workflow down too much, shame because i really like loads of stuff about it.
gonna have a look into ableton at some point though, just for the timestretching stuff really.

Cubase all the way.... (Although Guess I'd be using logic if I had a Mac)...Don't feel the need to run two sequencers, although I do use other progams in conjection with cubase, eg, wavelab and recycle.
I so use Ableton for live stuff, although I haven't been on it for while....

I briefly used Cubase & Live at the same time... mainly while I was in the transition stage of switching from Cubase to Live, and if I was under a deadline, sometimes it was faster for me to some parts in Cubase.
Now I am 100% in Live.

reason and live, reason for writing and synthesis, live for eq compression etc with a few choice plugs
