hey guys i am sure this has been asked over and over.
I am after a specific sound http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgV2OXldFiA
its the root note of that track.. i hear it everywhere. Im wondering if anyone knows where i can find similar samples or if someone can explain how its made. It sounds like a sampled guitar note but i am really not sure?
thanks in advance :)

Eh??

Why not sample it?? Seems a fair enough comment to me.

To me it sounds like an organ/piano with delay and reverb on it.

its a piano.

yr gonna wanna set up 2 detuned square waves and maybe a saw, adjust yr cutoff and res, bounce down, resample, add some distortion, split yr frequencies along 3 bands, bus those out, bounce down, resample add some bit crush, bounce down... er, wait...

yeah its just a piano.

why don't you watch another youtube? this should intimate you better with the world of the offbeat stab.. (the world where you don't have to overthink things so much)
