yo people wandering if there a setting on logic to automatically find and load your exs24 instruments when opening a project
kind of a pain in the ass to find each one when you got a few used in a project

either u've misunderstood the question or i have. tho its true that it aint too clear from the OP's post.
anyway...
@ OP: if what u r asking is "isnt it possible to set logic up so I dont have to load all the exs instruments up again each time i close and re-open a project?" then the answer is...it should already be doing this automatically.
if its not then i guess u got a bug, or yr exs instruments are saved in the wrong place so logic cant find them.

oh, i see what u mean. then maybe jagermikester did understand and i got it wrong. i thought the OP meant that the exs kits already used in the project disappear after shutting and reopening logic and then have to be manually relocated.
but yeah, i make new drum kits etc. every time. never reuse exs instruments in another project. but if you really want 2 repeat yrself every track u make then do as suggested and save a song template with the exs kits in. but i wouldnt recommend it...

When you've made the instrument, save it to the EXS24 instrument directory instead of into your project...
So in EXS24 you go to
If I'm not mistaken it's... Edit >> Instrument >> Save instrument as...
HD >> Library >> Application Support >> Logic >> Sampler Instruments
This is if you want to use the same instruments in numerous projects

Advice regarding the sampler instruments audio files not being found, make sure that the 'copy external audio files to project' box is clicked when you start a new project. If not go all the way and click the EXS24 one!

Yeh man, but by default you save your logic project on start up, then you just keep clicking cmnd+S throughout working until a time comes to back it up to a save as lol
