do i need a soundcard to use cubase studio 4!!?

think the topic pretty much sums up my question. know i need to get one ASAP but can i manage without one for the moment? cant figure out how to wire up my inputs and outputs, even with the help of the manual...

Im pretty amazed you even thought about producing without sound.

You could use your onboard sound to an extent (if you have onboard), but yeah your gonna need a semi-pro soundcard to use the software properly, this will also depend on how powerful your pc is too.
What inputs and outputs do you mean?

He's probably on about a professional soundcard.
As far as I know - no, but you'll have biiig audio latency.
