for ONE night only, the most AMAZING and enjoyably INTENSE experience will be existing and created right here in Asheville, NC. man, we will be having it UP! we're going to be partying all night, we're going to have a liqour bar and keg downstairs, so many exciting and intelligent people...plus the music:
LIVE JAZZ: MYK and his band
LIVE DUBSTEP MIX: pompende
LIVE HOUSE MIX: Jernigan
the house is on Shelbourne Rd in W. AVL. Park at the nearby baptist church.

ok pomp. nice tunes man recognized mostly everything you played. sound was a bit cheeky off the laptop but it's all good. I highly enjoyed the evening. definitly funny to see a bunch of oldschool ravers, and then the rest of unca. my boy steve was a bit drunk, he's a good guy though and produces some amazing music. beleive it or not he's not all about d'n'b either, he's focusing more on the slower tempo stuff (not quite dubstep but quality none the less). he's also a lightweight and never smokes...
we had fun, thanks for the invite.
I'm gonna order some records real soon. this music has inspired me to spin again.

HI SWAID! Where's the dubstep in NC?

kate moss is holding things down in gso on a fairly regular basis and there are a few one-offs (including some of the proper sundays, they had dubstep at the first one) - not been a dubstep-headlined event thus far tho - stay tuned if things develop as i'm hoping they will

As far as dubstep in NC, the next thing I know of is gonna be this...
