video soon. great night! talk about one intense set after another. dave q was on fire, and obviously those fires continued for mary, pinch, joe, alex, pandaia. big up to jahdan and juakali! out to Dusk who came to check it. we've never had such female support like we had last night! easily 2 to 1, females to males.

big up to all the travelers and the crew that drove from montreal and flew in from everywhere else. Dub War is nothing without your support. we never take it for granted. as always, nyc soldiers holding us down every month! vibes!

***apologies to those who had to wait in the long line.

hi dubwar team

sorry to be the only complaining... but what the hell happend with the sound system last night ?!
Dave's and may Anne's mix were so flat ! maybe you had a great time behind the turntables, with the feedback monitors, but for us, in the crowd... ! is it due to Serato ? Pinch and Joe's sets were a little bit better (maybe due to the vinyls) but we were so far from the usual dubwar's stomach assault !
i'm addicted to dubwar since my arrival at nyc 9 months agos, screamed for Distance, clapped for Ramadanman, gave up to produce my own sound while listening Olive and Mc honeychild...i won't never stop support your team, from Liz at the lights to Pandaia. I will never stop hurting my hands on this fucking deskboard at each Dave's rewind. i will never stop screaming while Joe is mixing ''city cycle" without headphones. But please do in sort that Dubwar stays the huggest sound sytem in NYC
respect to you all

sorry about this. most of the crew go out in the main room all through the night to check on the sound ourselves. if we had heard constant issues with the sound, then we would've corrected things immediately. i was out on the floor for a good part of mary's set, and it wasn't flat to my ears. we do soundchecks before doors at every dub war. sure, there's technicals that happen. its the nature of the beast when you're dealing with a system driven by 15 amplifiers, and stacks of speakers. feedback, in some respects is happening all the time. its just a matter of wrestling it back under control, while making it loud enough for the love experience. if anyone else thought the sound was an issue, please speak up. thanks.

yes the sound was lower this time around for reasons that involve bacon, nightlife watch etc... the trade off was WE WENT TIL 5AM!!!
