Earlier this year a couple of guys got together loads of footage of Bristol's dubstep nites, along with plenty of interviews with movers & shakers from Bristol and beyond. They've finally got it all edited down and packaged up, and you can buy a copy for the princely sum of five pounds:

It's well worth picking up, plenty of people with interesting stuff to say, and a good insight to what we've got goin on down here in Bristol.

same here, but Madboy brought me over a copy to watch a lil while ago - it's really good; some great bits of interview, nice footage of clubs & places round town, and the editing is really well done considering the limited equipment & resources they had. :D

everyone knows Pinch runs dubstep in Bristol - without his efforts we wouldn't have such a vibrant scene down here, no doubt about it. Of course there are other important heads who have helped to spread the word...

bump, any more for any more??

It's pretty interesting, all the footage was shot in Feb/March - it's amazing to see how much the scene has moved on in such a short space of time....

Done and done, thanks for that. Can't wait for Friday, the only thing I am not looking forward to is the amount of money I am going to spend up there on tunes 1 day after getting paid, all worth it though.

I got this DVD last week and I have to say that it's pretty impressive - big up everybody involved!

As someone who has never set foot in a dubstep dance nor gone anywhere near the UK (Kentucky's pretty far away), documentaries like this really help put faces to names and give a general feel for how things go down across the pond.

Somebody give these cats a budget and let them run wild on a bigger dubstep doc!

Ha cheers mate, I am pretty much the only person down here who is into it but I'm slowly getting more and more people listening, should be a few of us going to dubloaded on Friday including some who have never heard it before but want to know why I won't shut up about it. I live near St Agnes on the North Coast, been here for about 4 years now, and like you say ithe music scene down here can get quite stagnent so I can't wait for Friday!

Was thnking about trying to put a night on down here but as you probably know trying to get someone down here to take a chance of a little known type of music is pretty fecking hard, still, I'll keep trying :)
