How to control wobbles???

I know how to change the rate of the lfo, however I can't control the actuall wobbles, I want them to go slow at points kinda like this tune...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQ43MzJl ... re=related
I use reason 4 and the current track i'm workin on uses thor as the main bass/synth, and that's what I want to control.
Help would be much appreciated thank you!
BTW sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forum.

maybe im not understanding, but surely automating the lfo rate will give you this result?

What I am asking is, how do these artists control the wobbles so crisply? (dammit this is what I hate about dubstep, it's so hard to describe it)
Umm...Okay, when I try to control the wobbles, the wobbles will either speed up or slow down, sounding like "wawp wawp wawp wawp or wawpwawpwawpwawp"
While The tune posted above goes "wawp..wawp wop..wawp wop wop wop-wop". How did he do that?
I know that has to be the worst explanation but that's the only way I know how to describe it.....
As you can clearly tell i'm new at making dubstep.

i could be wrong but it sounds to me like the "wop" is just a different, lower note than the "wawp"
and the way producers get that crispness of control over wobbles could be attributed to assigning the rate of the lfo to a knob on a midi controller, rather than drawing it in by hand. but alas im new to producing as well so i could be totally wrong

I think what he means is how does distance get his basslines to change sound like wop rather than wap. Is it not to do with automating different effects throughout?

yeah this, lmao. jus try syncing LFO speed > Velocity or Keytracking n it'll basically be a simple version of this. but jus automate how you want the bass to wobble, and remember to keep it synced

A 'tempo synced' LFO, that is, an LFO locked in time with the tempo of the song is one way of keeping wobbles in time. Automating changes to the sync time will give you perfectly synced wobbles that change speed according to which sync time is selected. As pointed out above, they tend to be fractions of 4 for music writen with a 4/4 time signature. (1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 etc).
Tempo synced LFOs work best on synths where the sound source remains identical over time. This is not true of samplers.
If you are using a sample of a bass then be aware that for every octave you go down it will double in length. For every octave you go up, it will be half its previous length. This is true with real instruments such as the guitar, piano and flute. On a guitar, if you half the length of a string it plays an octave higher.
This is relevant since your sample may have some kind of natural wobble in it. Changing the pitch of the sample will also change the length of any wobble already present in the sample. Samplers with time stretching features can help avoid this.
I'd recommend sticking to a synth with decent LFO options that also allow you to automate the synced LFO speed in the synths sequencer lane. Pay me £50 and I'll do it for you!

automated Tempo Synced LFOs or multiple synths doing the same sound.
Or:
ADSR envelope of a low-pass filter on a sample. Multiples samples w/ different envelopes --> total control
