ok im not talking about the twitter song or paper bag, no like The imogen heap remix, the song Limelight and the take me to the hospital remix are all fucking unbeleivabley sick.

I went to Nocturnal in LA and was just dumbfounded by how much room the sound of dubstep has to evolve and rusko is pushing it to insane levels

i honestly dont think ive liked a rusko tune sinse woo boost, which was quite a while ago and that would of only been because it was at some messy event and id never heard it........

i know it probably dosent matter to him, but could he been any further detached from his roots/piers right now? i mean, an album on diplo's label?

i used to love alot of rusko tunes, obviously people still do but for me i just really dont like the music he has been putting out recently, its a shame...

he went a bit shit but recently been hearing a few tunes of his i like. feelin cali anthem and everybody dance.

yeah i mean he has a responsibility to his 'roots/piers' right? .........so what it ain't Jahova/Woo Boost/whatever anymore , it aint 2007 either .

feel the same as you about this, however i did bag the 'take me to the hospital' remix as i think it is indeed banging, and it'll get particular (non-dubstep) crowds going anyway....

That 1st MAH mix he did was fire, but for some reason most of his stuff has gone down hill after that for me. shame cuz i really did love the 07 sound.

the man's enjoying himself making crazy, ridiculous music. leave him be.

Rusko has lost quite of his qualities, i still like some of his work (babylon volume 1&2)
but he seems to be a hipster more recently

This. Rusko seem to transcend the genre boundary and keep any floor packed

Alot of his newer stuff with the auto-tuned vocals sounds quite electro, I personally really like it!

I think most people here don't like Rusko just out of principal.

"progression of the sound" is not excuse to make bad music, however

dont think so dude, as many have said babylon 1&2 + earlier stuff like SNES dub EP was awesome, and in no way to sound elitetist but his newer ventures just dont seem to cut it for many dubstep heads.

much respect to him, hes doing huge things for dubstep internationally in terms of representing the UK scene, but i do wonder whether he'll ever produce another heavy gritty banger, or collab with caspa ever again, would love to think he would. Being in the US a lot of the time is great for representing UK dubstep over there, but his recent productions make me feel hes somewhat detached himself from his original sound, and tbh the rest of the UK scene altogether.

The Take Me To The Hospital remix is wicked... that drop gets me every time.

Badman still!!!! takes less than a couple of seconds of the tune and u can recognise it as his straight away!!! Loving the remixes he's done!!! Like i said BADMAN!!!!!
