Hey guys - just about finished my second tune... I just wanted some feedback before I post a final mix for everyone to download in the audio forum.
I'll need to go eq it again tomorrow when I can listen to it on my monitors, late night production = headphones

Might be too much sub right now.
Anyways, I think it might need something around 16 bars in after the drop to make it a bit more intresting, any suggestions?
(EDIT: Go here for the final version)
Again, this isnt final so it you want to play it out, please wait a day or two so I can finish it up - thanks!

Im using reason 3, the synth thing is a malstrom with a scream on it.
I like darker kinda tunes, I guess there isn't much 'horror' dubstep, haha
The sample is from "The Hills Have Eyes".

production is tight, the highs are a little uncomfortable but that adds to the edginess of it I reckon so its all good. nice one.

went home for lunch, did a quick second mix down, i think things are more balanced now - removed the piano bit from the first 16 bars of the drop so it doesnt get too over used.
I think thats pretty much it though, i just want to smooth out some of the sounds when they cut off with some echos, and she'll be done!

I'll have to check when I get home about the synth, but the sub bass was a NN19, loaded a triangle sample from the reason sound bank ( i think its in like other samples > bass > raw synths - somethin like that). turn down the freq of the sample, set the filter to lfo. i usually lock the rate at about 1/4.
i can try to help out some more when i get home from work.

Yeah, like this. Got a real bounce to it, got some good energy going on. Quite like the fact you've kept it simple but the parts are all really hooky. Keep em comin

Very very good track. I would buy the record without hesitation! That b10007ch is well scary. The only thing I could wish for is a little more sub in the mix, but all in all it's a kick ass, quality track.
