Bringing together fellow Front & Follow artists, plus a couple of guests, we have created a collection of diverse and experimental takes on the classic cello sound, from the subtle and other-worldly vision of Sone Institute to the heavy beats of Elite Barbarian.
Elite Barbarian is the work of London-based Ben Page and Michael Donnelly. Their debut album on Front & Follow was described as ‘awesome’ by Rob Booth of Electronic Explorations and ‘a hybrid that resembles early ambient works by Aphex Twin crossed with a micro house that has burnt down to echoes of its halcyon beats’ by Surgery Radio.
