remixing competition!!!

well 1st of all i've never even done a remix but i always get ask to enter remixing competitions..
has anyone here ever entered any remixing competitions?
what was the prize and how did you go?
might give one ago soon..

Ahh man I thought there was one to enter. Naw i have never entered one. Guess the prizes vary for each one

most of the times i have seen, its thats the winning song(s) will get a release on there label

It varies alot, some give you free sample packs and some give you releases. Just depends what they're trying to do/promote.
It's always worth a go though, even if its just for fun!

i entered one last month or so and came as a runner up
so i get a free mp3 or something although the top 3 got releases
