stoke is appaling for any sort of underground alternative music culture, dont even think about wasting your time there trust me...
i wasted alot of time and money last year doing my night called Rush! there...ppl just dont wana know and the ppl that are into dnb/dubstep wont come cos they know what a shithole stoke is!

apparently gonna be some dubstep in stoke tonite with the "what would the captain do" album release. i aint heard them yet, so i cant say whether its gonna be good or not. although i do know them and they are musically talented, but whether this translates to fat dubstep is another matter.
on an aside, anyone up for a dubstep production partner in stoke pm me, i'm stuck without computer atm, and staying on a mates sofa cos of bullshit and getting chucked by my ex. i am seriously cracking out for a good sesh on ableton
EDIT@velocity: stoke isnt that wank for underground stuff. monkee was one of the best "underground" nights i've ever been to anywhere, and there are still regular free-parties. so your obviously out the loop a bit. as for rush, i heard and saw some posters but tbh it looked weak. there are regular nights with dnb, breaks, dubstep etc.. going on over keele way too.
double edit cos i'm a retard -

dunno where you've been, but there have been regular dnb nights in stoke for the last 7/8 years, although its cooled off in the last year or 2.
